Tune in for a Live Streaming Interview with Jenni Gold
Film Director, Jenni Gold, will be appearing live on Motivational Chat, a motivational web series on - ActorsEntertainment.com - this coming Wednesday, April 11th from 10-11am PST to discuss her work on the feature Documentary "CinemAbility," as well as the upcoming children's book and film titled "Lucky."
Jenni Gold, who has Muscular Dystrophy and has used a wheelchair since the age of seven, directed her first award winning feature film in 1997 and in 2001 founded Gold Pictures, a development / production entity located at Universal Studios, CA. She jokes that she is the only Director Member of the Director's Guild whose "director's chair" has wheels and goes eleven miles an hour.
Jenni's current project "CinemAbility," is a star studded documentary that takes us on a thought provoking and humorous journey that explores the evolution of disability portrayals in film and television from the silent era to today. In this important documentary we will see if media has had a hand in transforming the societal inclusion of the disabled and determine if an enlightened understanding of disability can have a positive impact on the world.
Jenni is also a writer and author whose first Children's book, "Lucky," will be released this September. It tells the story of a lost puppy who brings entrepreneurial success to his new found family. This charming book and soon to be family film is fun for kids of all ages and showcases the power of love.
