CinemAbility is very saddened today to announce that a very dear friend, associate producer and subject of the film, Danny Murphy, has passed away after a several year battle with Cancer.

Danny is best known for his work in the Farrelly Brothers films, starting as the bowling alley employee that takes Woody Harrelson’s hand off in a tragic ball return accident in Kingpin, and most recently as Boshane in their gross out comedy Hall Pass.

Whether he was in front of the camera or behind it, Danny always had a knack for having fun, playing it cool, and telling it like it is. We are proud to have one of his last contributions to film, in quite possibly his greatest achievement yet, as a profound disability advocate and veteran Hollywood Actor, in CinemAbility. Thanks for the Memories, Danny Boy! You will be missed.
